This year, after the ban on the sale of tourist packages to Turkish resorts has been lifted, THY has significantly increased its presence at Vnukovo airport. The airline regularly serves the Moscow routes from Antalya, Ankara and Istanbul, but the flight frequency has been significantly increased during the summer scheduling period.

Currently, the airline operates 220 weekly flights between Moscow and Turkey, 160 of which are performed to Antalya. The lion’s share of flights is performed on widebody aircraft Airbus A330-200 and A330-300, while A340-300 has been also occasionally spotted in Moscow. The airline’s weekly capacity on the Moscow routes is approximately 52,000 very comfortable and fluffy seats.
